Embroidery.

Embroidery is a method of decorating fabric using a needle and thread or yarn to create patterns and designs.

  • The design to be embroidered is created or digitized using specialized software. This software converts the design into a format that the embroidery machine can read, specifying the stitch types, directions, and sequence.

  • The fabric, along with the stabilizer, is placed in an embroidery hoop. The hoop holds the fabric taut and in place during stitching to ensure precision.

  • The embroidery machine is set up with the digitized design, and the appropriate thread colors are loaded into the machine. Modern machines often have multiple heads, allowing for multiple colors and faster production.

  • The machine follows the digitized design, stitching the pattern onto the fabric. This involves various types of stitches, such as satin stitches, fill stitches, and running stitches, to create the desired effect.

  • Once the embroidery is complete, the fabric is removed from the hoop, and excess stabilizer is trimmed away. The embroidered item is then inspected for quality and any loose threads are trimmed.
